I’ve been a bad, bad blogger. I promised myself that I would post everyday, or at least every other. But let me tell you, when you’re used to getting lost in the black hole that is wedding blogs as a reader, it takes a change of mindset to look at it all in a different light.

Oh, and on top of that, I’ve been pretty busy.

Ruby is working on about four jobs right now! Three amazing weddings-all so different and wonderfully exciting-and some personalized stationery. It really does feel like this is becoming something real. I am so lucky to have such supportive people surrounding me and pushing me to keep making this more and more of a reality. There is so much to learn when starting a business, most of which I am learning as I go. It’s an exciting time!

On a side note-this is how I want my wedding day (someday) to feel.

Our friend Brittany just had a baby boy, Owen (congrats!) and I wanted to send a little something. I made these cute baby animal silhouette notecards.

I haven’t mailed them yet, so if you’re reading this, Brittany, you can still act surprised when they arrive.

I may have gotten a little ahead of myself with the branding, but I had a few Ruby t-shirts made. So far, Mike, the boyfriend, has been getting some good use out of his. Here he is wearing the T in all it’s glory.

Who wants one?

Anna Bond from Rifle is my hero. Amazing, that woman. Her hand-drawn type makes me swoon on a daily basis. In a dream world, she would create a font, sell it to me and life would be beatuiful. Anyway, she came out with these unbeliveably goregeous recipe boxes with hand-painted lids.

I may need one.
