The Process

Once you contact us, it all starts with a quick questionnaire to get some basic information and put together a rough quote. From there, we’ll hop on a phone call, exchange emails, or have a meeting (in-person or virtual!) to chat and organize some ideas. To help us understand your vision, we’d love to see a Pinterest board, inspiration pieces, photos or any other tidbits you’ve collected during your planning.
If you decide to work with us (yay!) we’ll have you sign a contract and collect a 50% deposit.

Then the fun begins…DESIGN! We will send out a design time line so you know exactly what to expect. From there, we will go through the proofing and revision process. Once everything looks perfect, we’ll go to print. Before we ship your pretty little numbers out, we require a final payment. Before you know it, your invitations will be in your hands and you’ll live happily ever after!

 Letterpress

Our true love… Custom mixed inks and running each piece through the press by hand is truly a labor of love. Letterpress printing is the most traditional method of printing and produces a textural and luxurious final product. The process of letterpress involves making a Polymer plate, inking it, and then pressing the images and letters into thick cotton paper. Because of the handcrafted nature of this print method, there are slight variances from one invitation to the next. Think character, not imperfection.

To achieve a true metallic color or to add a special “pop” to your invitation design, we love working with foil. The process is similar to letterpress, but the final result is gorgeous and opaque. Did we mention you can print white ink on dark stocks with foil? Yes. It’s amazing.

Digital

The quickest and most budget-conscious method of printing we offer is digital printing. This process is done on an industrial, high-quality digital laser printer and is perfect if your design requires lots of color. With digital, we still use beautiful, thick stocks in a range of weights and color. Flat printing is a great option when you’re on a tight budget but don’t want to compromise on design.

Addressing

We offer digital calligraphy in fonts to match your invitation suite. Looking for the real-deal calligraphy? We can hook you up with one of our many calligrapher friends who will finish off your suite with beautiful hand lettering!

Embellishments

There are many options available to customize your paper suite even further. From ribbons to belly bands, envelope liners to custom wax seals, there is always a little something extra to make your suite uniquely you.
