Letterpress
Our true love… Custom mixed inks and running each piece through the press by hand is truly a labor of love. Letterpress printing is the most traditional method of printing and produces a textural and luxurious final product. The process of letterpress involves making a Polymer plate, inking it, and then pressing the images and letters into thick cotton paper. Because of the handcrafted nature of this print method, there are slight variances from one invitation to the next. Think character, not imperfection.
To achieve a true metallic color or to add a special “pop” to your invitation design, we love working with foil. The process is similar to letterpress, but the final result is gorgeous and opaque. Did we mention you can print white ink on dark stocks with foil? Yes. It’s amazing.
Digital
The quickest and most budget-conscious method of printing we offer is digital printing. This process is done on an industrial, high-quality digital laser printer and is perfect if your design requires lots of color. With digital, we still use beautiful, thick stocks in a range of weights and color. Flat printing is a great option when you’re on a tight budget but don’t want to compromise on design.
